Apple has filed trademark for iWatch in several countries across Asia and Latin America including Japan, Mexico, Taiwan and Turkey.
There has been a lot of rumors that Apple is working on development a cool wrist watch gadget (smartwatch) and has dedicated a team of product developers to the project.
There are live trademark filing for iWatch in both US and the European Union by other companies, but Apple can always negociate the use of iWatch name with the existing owner of iWatch trademarks.
It is interesting seeing Apple and Google getting into wearable gadgets; Google started with Google Glass and now a good possibility that Apple is coming up with the new iWatch.
